I suppose "Un Nuovo Bacio" is my favorite. I do love the version of 'Il Mondo e mio" that you posted, though. Can't wait to see them do

Yes that would be fun!
And I think... if they are really a good couple they should do! But from what as I can see now I doubt this will ever happen! And I can be wrong but... the fact they are so separate in their performances gives me no good feeling about the quality of their relationship... Do you know another couple of singers that has also good duets but nevertheless who are singing separate all the time! ???  |

| I would love to see them do an album of duets but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. In my opinion, I think Anna needs to feel that she has her own career established more before she will return to singing with him. He was her teacher, her mentor, in a sense, and now she needs to feel like a performer in her own right. |

I think it would be fabulous....perhaps something they should have done before she retired on pregnancy leave. I guess the feeling is that if you do an album you have to do a tour and promote it so I imagine that's why they wouldn't have done anything ( a dvd of past performances of Anna would have been wonderful though). 2009 is the first year I have not seen Anna and Gigi perform together. I don't think that is odd because I agree with what Sara said about Anna establishing her own career. What I do think is strange though, is that they never performed Sarai in public and that it never came out as a single as was talked about. It was on both their albums that came out at the end of 2008 as far as I know.  Had they gone on their overseas tour together as we were told would be in Februrary (before the pregnancy was known), they would have sung some some songs together most likely. |

Indeed, that's very strange! I have only one explanation!
You say: Anna wants to establish her own career!
I don't think so!!!
I think: .... It's Gigi who wants to build further on his own career!!! It's Gigi who doesn't want to perform with Anna anymore! Can't you imagine Gigi must be scared enormous to see Anna having more applause then himself if they perform together!? It would be soooo humiliating for him! And... I'm sure Anna would have more applause then Gigi!
Anna may not perform together with him! Gigi doesn't want to! I'm sure Anna would love it to perform more together with Gigi! But she can only accept this stupid situation! I can be wrong but that's really what I think of it! A good couple of singers has to sing together! Certainly if they hove proved they can do this! And Anna and Gigi did so: they have succesfull duets but they don't do anything with it! Sorry... I think that's not normal and I have bad feelings about that!
Let me show you how it can be...
You certainly don't know them because they are singing in dutch but everybody in Belgium does: Nicole & Hugo. I don't know if you like the style.... I do... but that doesn't matter here. They have 40 years of perfect mariage! How beautiful that they even now on their old age sing still together with that much passion... On the Youtube you can see they still really love each other!!! If you don't see it diirect... go to the last seconds on the end of the youtube!
That's love!.... and that's what I like to see when a couple, a man and a woman sing together! Please Anna and Gigi, show us your love in your duets! Every year again! And if you do, this doesn't mean you have to pass up your own career! Not at all! It will only strength it!

Nicole and Hugo are very sweet there. have they had their individual careers also over the years?
i don't understand why Anna and Gigi haven't sung more together either. Gigi does, however, need to protect his career ...look at all the money he has to pay out now supporting 2 families! |

Indeed.... this is a substantial difference with Anna & Gigi. Hugo & Nicole always performed together! And... They started their career together!
Anyway... I'd like to see Anna & Gigi starting to build a career more together. Sorry.... I think this is a must for the success of their relationship! If they don't, I think sooner or later they will grow totally apart with fatal effect on their relationship! I do believe.... Doing things together and sharing experiences as much as possible is a primary feature of - and a primary condition to possibly be or become a good couple! |

| I agree as far as separate careers causing them to drift apart in their personal relationship. They have to find time for each other and spend quality time together. It would be difficult though, for Anna to achieve her dreams of being a singer at the level of Mina and with the world success of Pausini if she sings a lot with Gigi. |
